Running Box86/Box64 on the ROCKPro64

Running Box86/Box64 on the ROCKPro64

Box64 lets you run x86_64 Linux programs (such as games) on non-x86_64 Linux systems, like ARM.

Wine is a compatibility layer capable of running Windows applications on several POSIX-compliant operating systems, such as Linux, macOS, & BSD.

The combination of these two applications can allow you to run x86_64 windows programs on ARM devices like the ROCKPRO64.

MicroLinux ran STEAMWORLD DIG 2 on his ROCKPRO64 using this method. As the Pinebook Pro and upcoming Pinephone Pro both run the same hardware, this method would work almost exactly the same on those devices.

and NicoD's SBCs shows us how to install Box86, Box64 and wine on Armbian Hirsute.
