ameriDroid and ProtectMyOrder

Dear valued customers,

We have some exciting news to share with you regarding our shipping protection program. As you may know, we previously partnered with Route and LABL to offer package protection for your orders. However, we recently made the decision to switch to a new provider called ProtectMyOrder.

Why did we switch? Unfortunately, Route recently increased their premium prices from $0.98 to $1.75 for orders under $100 and from ~3.5% to ~4.7% on orders over $100. We understand that these price increases may not be accessible for everyone, which is why we have partnered with ProtectMyOrder to offer the same service at a more affordable cost with even better claiming times and experience.

ProtectMyOrder offers package protection for just $1.54 on orders under $100 and ~2.54% on orders over $100 (Price goes by brackets, percentage might vary). This means that you can still have peace of mind knowing that your package is protected during transit, without breaking the bank.

To take advantage of this service, simply opt-in during checkout. If you need to file a claim, please feel free to reach out to us at orders@ameridroid.com. As a reminder, claims must be filed for lost packages after 7 days of the last tracking update for domestic orders and 21 days (and within 60 days from the last checkpoint) for international shipments. It's just another way that we're working to provide the best possible experience for our customers. If you are wondering why ProtectMyOrder is necessary, "FOB Origin" regulations state that liability transfers to the purchaser when the package is handed to the shipping carrier, is for that reason that we offer ProtectMyOrder so you can file a claim for a lost, damaged or stolen package easily.

Thank you for your continued support and we hope that this change will benefit you. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to our customer service team.

Best regards, Brandon
