PINE H64 Model B ANDROID Installation using PhoenixCard

PINE H64 Model B ANDROID Installation using PhoenixCard

Recently PINE has released the new H64 Model B SBC.  Unfortunately, the initial offer was to developers only due to no stable OS being available.

ameriDroid has researched -- with the help of other developers -- to find a bootable Android image using the PhoenixCard imaging method.  Please be aware that due to Google restrictions on various devices, installing Google Services may be difficult or unlikely.  If we find a way around that later we will post updates on the product page.

How To Install

  1. Download the image from: http://wiki.pine64.org/index.php/PINE_H64_Main_Page
  2. Make sure to select Stock Android 7.0 Phoenix Card image 20180227 v1.0
  3. Follow this guide on how to install the image using Phoenix Card: http://wiki.pine64.org/index.php/PhoenixCard

Please note when writing the image it will take about 3-4 minutes. Do not remove the image until you see Process Complete. Once finished burning, put the microSD card into the H64 Model B and power it on. It will take anywhere from 5-10 minutes for the initial boot at which point the stock Android 7.0 OS will be available on your Pine H64 Model B.

Keep checking the ameriDroid Blog for updates as we will post them as we receive them.

Marcos Lima, this article was written about half a year ago. You should probably use the most current, which is presently [Stock Android 7.0 Phoenix Card image 20190115]
