The Home Assistant Green 3rd batch started arriving at our warehouse today and we are shipping them in the order they were received now.

The 1st batch is projected to arrive around mid-November, with the 2nd batch following closely. However, due to the catch-up process, it is likely that shipping for the second batch will commence in mid December. We genuinely value your patience and ongoing support.

Quick Delivery, Great Product

My first order from AmeriDroid. I was concerned that the Z-Wave adapter was listed as a pre-order and that by default the Green Assistant would ship together. However they both shipped in just a couple of days. Since I live in northern California, the package arrived the next day.

As for the product, I wanted to migrate away from the mix of multiple apps. After testing HA in a virtual machine on my mac, I made the green plunge for a dedicated solution. Obviously most of the implementation is dependent on HA software, but this machine has been flawless so far.

Smooth setup and operation

Upgraded from old Pi hardware. Importing the old configuration to the green was easy and the performance in great.

What a pleasure

I love it. I plugged my HA Green into my network and it quickly found about 30 smart home devices and added them into my configuration. Sure, I'll have to spend some time getting to know HA software and how to customize everything to meet my needs, but this is off to a great start. And AmeriDroid shipped it quickly, thanks!

No issues

There were no issues at all. I searched, read the descriptions, and ordered. My order was delivered on time.

Unusable upon arrival

It arrived missing all Default Config files and all .yaml files. It also needed an update before I could put it into recovery mode to do a fresh install of the OS. This was because the OS was so old it would only work with a SD card recovery and the OS recovery for SD card recovery on home assistant website was also corrupted. After a fresh install of the OS everything worked as it was supposed to. The whole reason I had bought this Green was because it was supposed to be a plug and play solution to Home Assistant. I was probably better off just getting a Raspberry pie and installing the OS on that.
