NOTES

  • The OGU PCB shape is identical to the OGS, but it has a totally different circuit design and requires a heatsink to cool down its more powerful CPU.
  • Due to the dual PMIC architecture, the charging time is very slow when the battery is fully discharged. Therefore, a specially designed USB charging cable is provided with the device for faster charging. Connecting both the type-C plug and Type-A plug to the OGU ports maximizes the charging rate.
  • At this moment, the reference Ubuntu 20.04.4 BSP image supports the following systems(cores), atari2600, atari5200, atari7800, atarilynx, gamegear, gb, gba, gbc, mastersystem, megadrive, nes, pcengine, pcenginecd, psx, segacd, snes, psp, mame2003, n64, dreamcast, gamecube

Shipping issue quickly corrected

I ordered this handheld and the delivery was botched by the USPS. Ameridroid quickly resolved the issue, and I now have a fully functioning handheld in my hand. 3 days of use and I have no issues to report. I tip my hat to the customer service team for excellent help!

Amazing Retro Handheld

As of today the best img is Retro Arena. I am actively working on porting batocera to the OGU. She plays everything up to the Dreamcast with zero issues. GameCube has issues but will be worked out in time

Powerful Handheld

This Handheld device is one of the more powerful devices with the N2 hardware which is powerful enough to play ALOT of emulated systems/games that the RPi4 just cant do, especially N64 games which works very smoothly. BUT since this is a new system the Retropie Software is still being developed. For the person that posted UNUSABLE, you will need to flash a new OS that is configured to read ROMS from the SD Card. Try Retro Arena.

Fast, good quality build.

For retro gaming, this is hard to beat at this price point. Good feel in the hand and controls are great. Nice that it has built-in eMMC plus microSD support. Good OS support already, and more OS choices are becoming available to give this a lot of flexibility.

A great device

It's still being heavily developed for, but has made huge leaps forwards. Great things are coming for this device.
