Introducing a New 3D Printable Passive Cooling Case for ODROID H4 with Dual 3.5" HDD Support Posted by cgXR

We are excited to share with the ODROID community a fantastic new design by cgXR from Reddit: a 3D printable passive cooling case designed specifically for the ODROID H4, accommodating two 3.5" hard disk drives (HDDs). This project is all about combining functionality with simplicity and efficiency, perfect for those looking to expand their storage while keeping things cool and quiet.

Design Overview
  • Compatibility: Tailored for the ODROID H4, ensuring a snug fit for your board and your storage needs.
  • Cooling: This case promotes passive cooling, eliminating the need for noisy fans or complex cooling systems. The design leverages natural convection for heat dissipation.
  • No Supports Needed: The model is optimized for 3D printing with no support structures required, which means less material waste and smoother assembly.
  • Mounting Options: The case includes provisions for easy mounting, making it straightforward to set up your system in various environments.
Assembly couldn't be easier:
  • Gluing and Screwing: Just a few strategic glue points and screws are all you need to put this case together.
  • Optional Power Button: There's an optional slot for a 16mm power button, giving you the choice to add a tactile way to power your device.
You can download the STL files and find all the details you need right here:
