News: Full-Screen Streaming on ODROID-XU4 Ubuntu MATE
By Bohdan Lechnowsky
As some of you may know, I use four different systems on my desk for daily work. One of these is an ODROID-XU4.
In the not-too-distant past, I was unable to play YouTube and other videos in fullscreen without Ubuntu crashing when exiting fullscreen mode.
The great news is that due to a suspected recent update, I've now been able to play fullscreen YouTube, Facebook and other videos in Chromium without any problems when exiting.
Unfortunately, Firefox on the XU4 still cannot play YouTube videos for some reason.
Here is the information from my XU4 if you would like to reference it against your installation:
$ uname -a
Linux xu4-bo 4.14.94-155 #1 SMP PREEMPT Wed Jan 23 05:19:08 -02 2019 armv7l armv7l armv7l GNU/Linux$ lsb_release -a
