News: Open and Shipping During COVID-19

ameriDroid.com is open and shipping during COVID-19. We are practicing social distancing and have implemented numerous safety measures to minimize risk.

Most of our employees are working from home. We are only scheduling two shippers in the warehouse, and they are sisters who live in the same house.

Please be aware that although some shipping services may be impacted, we are shipping orders daily Monday through Friday.

Q: Is it safe to receive a package from any area where COVID-19 has been reported?

A: Yes. The likelihood of an infected person contaminating commercial goods is low and the risk of catching the virus that causes COVID-19 from a package that has been moved, travelled, and exposed to different conditions and temperature is also low.

Q: How long does the virus survive on surfaces?

A: The most important thing to know about coronavirus on surfaces is that they can easily be cleaned with common household disinfectants that will kill the virus. Studies have shown that the COVID-19 virus can survive for up to 72 hours on plastic and stainless steel, less than 4 hours on copper and less than 24 hours on cardboard.

As always, clean your hands with an alcohol-based hand rub or wash them with soap and water. Avoid touching your eyes, mouth, or nose.
