News: RockChip to Release 8nm ARM Chip in Q1 2020

Rockchip announced a new 8-core low-power SoC recently. The RK3588 will feature four ARM Cortex-A55 cores, four ARM Cortex-A76 cores, a Mali G52 GPU capable of 8K@60fps and a Neural Processing Unit (NPU 2.0). It will be manufactured on an 8nm process. Rockchip claims that the new manufacturing process will increase performance by up to 30% while reducing power consumption by approximately 40%.
