Some Raspberry Pi CM5 are currently available for pre-order, 2GB, 4GB and some 8GB Variants are currently available. However, delivery for the other variants has been slightly delayed, with some expected in April. We are optimistic about receiving these units sooner rather than later. *Some customers have reported that while moving the Data Disk to an NVMe, the Home Assistant interface may display the NVMe size as "0". Despite this, the moving process still functions correctly. Even if the size remains "0" after the Data Disk has been moved, the "Disk Used Space %" will display accurately, reflecting the correct available space.

At the heart of Home Assistant Yellow is the Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4. This plugs into the Home Assistant Yellow board and provides the brains. You can upgrade to a more powerful version of the Compute Module 4 at any time.

Home Assistant Yellow includes the latest and greatest Zigbee radio chip from Silicon Labs to communicate with smart devices in your home. The chip is forward-compatible with the upcoming Matter smart home connectivity standard, in which Silicon Labs is heavily involved. Home Assistant Yellow will be compatible with Matter as soon as the Silicon Labs Matter SDK is released.

Home Assistant Yellow also contains an M.2 extension port. This allows you to easily plug in an NVMe SSD drive to extend the available space.

Slow delivery

It took them 1 week for my order to be prepare, and the order just sit there and then after the week finally got the shipping confirmation. Feels like the product was not in inventory and they had to wait for a while before they could ship it. This was part good news and part bad news... I'm still waiting for the shipment to arrived after 3 more weeks, I guess I'll wait two more weeks and will probably contact them if this fails to arrive by then.

Your order was prepared and ready to ship within 1 business day of placing it. The delay in shipping was due to the Canada Post strike, which started a few weeks prior to your order. While the strike ended in December, Canada Post resumed accepting international packages on December 23rd. However, USPS only began shipping to Canada again on January 6th, which led to the delay.

We can confirm that your package is expected to be delivered in the next few days. We understand the frustration caused by this extended wait, and we appreciate your understanding as this was largely due to circumstances beyond our control.
