Aw Yeah - This one's the ticket.

Power (to GTD) with consuming a lot of, well, power. :-)
I love the absolute "tinkerability" of this SBC and it has the horsepower to mow through my less than pretty code and still make it work so you can keep fabricating your widget to verify the idea and *then* come back and clean up the processes so it can run it without even tickling the passive heatsink....all the while running other stuff at the same time without choking, screen freezing (the rPi's dreaded "I'm gettin' there").
It *can* do the simple stuff I use pies for (pi's?) but it's way more fun with this puppy.

Small Board Computer
Atomic Pi

This is a good little board. I use mine as a media streamer. I installed Mint Mate to the emmc and attached a spinner through a usb powered hub. I set the spinner to powersave to keep it from being always on. It is mainly used for swap space. I found the original included OS was not expanded right so when I tried to install things and change the grub resolution to a lower one it got corrupted. The bios will go into an advanced version if an OS is not sensed. I had to modify the Pulse audio file to output to the hdmi instead of the analog audio by default. The Wifi chip and two 8 pin voltage regulators can become quite hot with streaming over any network option. Unlike a regular motherboard; proper VRM cooling was not a priority considering what the board was built for. I did put a R Pi sized heatsink on the Wifi chip that helped. It annoys me though that these things try to use the highest resolution by default even if it isn't correct and will result in a "not support" situation. Sometimes it takes a hdmi to svideo converter to set the right resolution first. It would be nice for a vga compatible resolution to be default for all bios and OS startup environments. I have not used this for any kind of experimentation. I have had it for a few years and I can blame Explaining Computers for his review on my buying one. I was tired of being handicapped by ARM not being Widevine friendly as most non android sites require.

Great value

I bought 4 and they went to Austria within less than 3 weeks. Delivery was predeclared so customs were pretty quick (as quick as they can be though) too. They are very well made and work nicely.

Great!

The SBC works great. Since you are probably interested in shipping, well, mine came in 3 weeks (EU Central) with the cheapest shipping. Nicely packaged. Everything working great. Would recommend to others as well.

Good product.
But it doesn't have any LED to display the status of the board.
It will be better if it has the power button and power LED status.
Because I want to know when it should be cut the power off after command shutdown.
