Not ideal for my needs

I have bought a number of these, they are well made. But they have one important defect for my purposes:

The spacing of the pin holes across the central divide is not a multiple of 2.5 mm (0.1 in). Therefore it does not match the standard spacing for many important uses.

The DIP chips and modules such as the Arduino minis, AdaFruit Feathers, or SparkFun modules, etc. that I most want to mount on this board do not match the hole spacing. This is frustrating because there is no obvious reason for this non-standard spacing.

These boards seem most suitable for work with discrete components or simple mechanical support. More useful boards are available elsewhere.
