While the H5 board features a native RTL8127 10GbE port, HK recognizes that power users may require even more bandwidth. To meet this demand, we developed a secondary 10GbE network card in a compact M.2 2280 form factor.
This comprehensive kit features dual bracket options for both low-profile and standard PC chassis. We also provide two shielded interface cables (100mm and 300mm), ensuring a perfect fit regardless of your internal cable management needs.
For those using the official H5 Type-1 case, the 100mm cable is the ideal choice.
Utilizing two PCIe 3.0 lanes, this card is a versatile powerhouse—fully compatible with the ODROID-H series and any standard desktop motherboard with an available M.2 x2 or x4 slot.
Included hardware components for the M.2 to 10GbE adapter
* 10GbE M.2 Card (2280 Size with B+M Key)
* 10GbE RJ45 board
* 2 types of shielded Micro-Coaxial cables are included, in lengths of 100mm and 300mm, allowing users to select the appropriate length based on the internal structure of their case. Use the 100mm cable for the official H5 Type-1 case.
* 2 types of brackets for LP and standard PC cases
* Screws and PCB standoffs
The M.2 10GbE Card is compatible with the ODROID H4 and H5 series. It requires only 2 PCIe Gen3 lanes and can be combined with the M.2 2×2 Card on the ODROID H4.
By the way, if you have unused M.2 M key slots (4 or 2 lanes) on your PC ATX motherboard (with at least PCIe Gen 3 support), the M.2 10GbE Card is an easy and low cost way to add 10GbE connectivity to your PC. It is quite common to think you are out of PCIe lanes because you use all the PCIe slots. But do not forget that the unused M.2 slots have 4 or 2 lanes begging to be used.
