'Hello Cody, I would assume your batteries might not have been 18650 batteries? 18650 batteries are standardized in size, with a nominal diameter of 18 mm and length of 65 mm, hence the name '18650.' However, there can be slight variations: Protected vs. Unprotected: Protected 18650s (with built-in circuit protection) may be slightly longer (up to 68-70 mm) due to the added circuitry. Button Top vs. Flat Top: Button-top batteries have a protruding positive terminal, making them slightly longer or taller than flat-top versions. Manufacturing Tolerances: Minor differences in diameter or length (within 1-2 mm) can occur due to manufacturing variations.

For most practical purposes, 18650s are interchangeable in devices designed for them, but always check the device's requirements for protection type or terminal style. Brandon'
