    This device is truly the easiest way to get started with Home Assistant, but it still needs an internet connection to finish setup:

    1. You connect the Home Assistant Green to power and to your router with an Ethernet cable.
    2. On the very first boot it automatically downloads the latest Home Assistant OS from GitHub (usually takes 5–15 minutes depending on your internet speed).
    3. After the download and install finishes, the device will proceed to boot the HA OS and you can reach the normal Home Assistant interface at http://homeassistant.local:8123 or via the IP address (For example if the IP assigned to your device is 192.168.1.15, you will need to reach http://192.168.1.15:8123 from any browser connected to the same network).

good product but steep learning curve I couldn't get the automations to work it did fine most of the devises on my network but this was a little above my skill level to figure out , however the good people at AmeriDroid was willing to take it back with no issues .
