Shelly Presence Gen4

The Shelly Presence Gen4 (S4SN-0U61X) is a USB-C powered mmWave presence sensor. It detects people even when they are sitting still, so lighting and climate automations can follow real occupancy rather than motion alone. It connects over Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5 LE, and Zigbee 3.0, and supports Matter-over-Wi-Fi.

NOTES

• Use a dedicated, high-quality 5 V / 1 A USB-C power adapter that holds a stable 5 V output. Shelly warns against multi-port / fast-charge adapters that fluctuate. A USB power adapter is not listed in the box contents.
• Indoor use. Intended for spaces up to about 8 × 8 m (26 × 26 ft). Optimal mounting height about 2 m (6.5 ft); max supported room height 5 m (16.4 ft); recommended tilt ~15°.
• Cannot detect people behind walls or solid obstructions, or movement behind the sensor.
• Button shortcuts (per Shelly docs): 1× status LED; 3× Zigbee pairing; 5× switch Matter firmware ↔ Zigbee; hold 5 s network reset; hold 10 s factory reset.
