The SONOFF SNZB-02UL (AirGuard) is a Zigbee temperature and humidity sensor with a 2.9-inch E-Ink screen. On its own it shows the current reading and the last 6 hours. Paired to a hub, the screen can also show time, date, weather, and a comfort icon.
KEY FEATURES
- 2.9" E-Ink display, readable in bright light, nearly 180° viewing angle
- Sensirion sensor: about ±0.2°C and ±2% RH, refresh about every 5 seconds
- Button shows the past 6 hours of temperature and humidity on the screen
- Zigbee 3.0 (TLSR8258). Needs a Zigbee hub for app, scenes, and extra screen data
- Home Assistant through Zigbee2MQTT or ZHA with a SONOFF dongle or other coordinator
- Stand, built-in magnet, wall holes, and adhesive pad
- 2× AAA. SONOFF lists 8+ months on a gateway and 15+ months standalone (lab figures)

NOTES
- Standalone, the screen shows temperature, humidity, and 6-hour history. Time, date, weather, and remote readings need a Zigbee gateway or Home Assistant
- Zigbee2MQTT supports it out of the box. Remote sensor and weather icons need a script. ZHA support is still limited until the native integration is merged
- Double-press the back button to switch °C and °F
- E-Ink flashes when it refreshes, and it can hold the last image after the batteries are removed. Both are normal
- Keep it in 0–50°C. Outside that range the screen can ghost
- Alexa, Google, and Apple Home go through eWeLink or a SONOFF Matter bridge, not a direct connection
