ok, so.... i've got this dongle working on everything now, except on android x86 running on my h2+. but, i vowe to figure that out as well.
works out of the box on odroid n2/n2+ with any of voodik's lineage releases.
i'm rocking his latest 18.1 and the 5ghz usb 3.0 bus is suuuuuper fast. allowing for xboxone and pc streaming to my n2's. was just playing doom eternal...without a hitch, not even a stutter. very, very pleased. linux is easy to get this up and running make sure you have propper linux headers installed and dkms installation is simple.
don't like to put any bad papers out there on any person or product as far as that's concerned. this thing has far exceeded me expectations. just took a litte bit of work. in the end, SO WORTH IT.
that my friends is why i have felt so compelled to wright this review. take care people. be safe!
this thing does NOT work with any of my sbc's. doesn't work with odroid n2, n2+, or h2+. only works with my odroid go super. for 20 bucks i expected better compatibility. would like to return this for a 5g adapter that actually works with my sbc's. not one of my best purchases from ameridroid!

Compatibility is not an issue with the SBC, per se, but with the operating system and the drivers pre-installed on the OS. We've added the following link to the product page for this WiFi module so the driver can be downloaded for any Linux-based system: https://github.com/fastoe/RTL8812BU
