Project: Turn an Old Computer Tower Into an SBC Cluster/Server Rack - Disassembly and Prep
By Bo Lechnowsky, President of ameriDroid.com:
We use a lot of SBCs at ameriDroid. Here are a small selection of previous blog articles to give an idea of what we are doing with them:

This new project's aim is to turn an old 486 full tower case into the equivalent of a server rack for traditional servers, but much, much smaller and more power efficient!
BTW, this 486 was slated to go to e-waste, but we saved it from the scrap pile. Surprisingly, it was amazingly clean like it was just unboxed, even though it is probably about 25 years old. We didn't do any pre-cleaning on this tower!
