Compact single-channel LoRaWAN gateway for smart home and IoT – ThinkNode G3! This powerful yet affordable gateway combines the ESP32-S3 dual-core processor with a Semtech SX1262 LoRa transceiver to bridge LoRa devices to the internet via WiFi or Ethernet. With stable long-range communication, easy web-based configuration, and flexible mounting options, it’s the ideal entry-level LoRaWAN gateway for smart homes, agriculture, environmental monitoring, industrial IoT, and custom projects. Convert LoRa sensor data to IP seamlessly and connect your devices to the cloud without complexity.
The ThinkNode G3 is designed for LoRaWAN applications, offering:
- Single-Channel LoRaWAN Gateway: Semtech SX1262 transceiver with TCXO for high frequency stability, supporting EU868 / US915 frequencies and long-range, low-power communication.
- Powerful ESP32-S3 Core: Dual-core Xtensa LX7 processor up to 240 MHz with 8 MB PSRAM and 8 MB Flash for fast data processing and protocol conversion between LoRa and IP.
- Flexible Network Backhaul: WiFi (2.4 GHz) and Ethernet (RJ45 10/100 Mbps) connectivity for reliable internet uplink. Optional 4G module support (not yet released).
- Easy Configuration & Management: User-friendly web console accessible via phone or PC for quick LoRa parameter setup, network configuration, and remote OTA firmware upgrades.
- Multi-Mount Design: Modern ABS enclosure with multi-functional fixed base/stand supporting wall mounting, desktop placement, or back-hanging installation.
- Low Power Consumption: Only ~110 mA at 5V (MCU + LoRa), making it suitable for continuous operation with USB or lithium battery power.
- Development Friendly: Full support for Arduino IDE, ESP-IDF, and MicroPython/C/C++ — perfect for custom firmware and advanced IoT projects.
