Just received my N2+ for Home Assistant. I've been running Home Assistant on a VM in Proxmox; but with automations becoming more and more important, I felt that I should move to a dedicated device. The N2+ fit the bill.

If you have found this product, you already know what it can do, so we won't cover that part of it. This product is a great additional to your HA ecosystem to replace Bezo's assistant. Wheel provides solid feedback, Leds are just bright enough without being too bright, the case is solid, speaker is what you would expect, its not a problem, just but Dolby surround sound :D Great product!

These are a fantastic addition to Home Assistant. Already far more functional and configurable that the Google speakers I am replacing them with. The "ask a question" functionality is so useful. Great stuff from Nabu Casa.

It's a great SBC for the price, just add RAM and SSD.

Easy to shop, easy to pay and you get your items quickly. There was an issue with an item being out of stock on a future order and they actually reached out with alternatives (that weee cheaper).

Using it with home assistant and connects to my zigbee devices great

Any issues I am having are more to do with my using the Home Assistant Voice Preview Edition with locally hosted LLMs and configuration of the Home Generative Agent. I'm generally pleased with the whole system, even though it does have a few rough edges... I've only just begun addressing the HGA with queries about the system beyond just those entities exposed to the Voice Assistant. The future of AI integration into HA looks bright, thanks to everybody at Nabu Casa!

I went from an Aeotec USB sized dongle as my Z-wave controller to this. I am seeing a lot fewer dropped packets and faster control of my devices. Still not 0 dropped packets though, but that might not be achievable. Definitly worth the money for me.

It is great way to get into voice control of Home Assistant. I bought 1 of these units, integrated it with HA over the weekend. Excellent WAF/SAF (Wife/Spouse Acceptance Factor). I ordered another on Monday ! One in the kitchen and one in the living room. Covers the whole house. Much faster and more flexible than Google Home. Buy It ! Support Nabu Casa.

It’s huge! You better have room for it! But it looks great, the light is real nice and it’s super powerful. It removed a lot of the device hops in my network.

The Home Assistant Voice Preview Edition works as promised right out of the box.

To note: Personalized wake words and wake word location are not part of its baseline programming but it's a quick and easy fix thanks to the community

However standard, as is out of box, it's far more functional than the tiny entry level atoms and a no brainer for those committed to their home assistant project and upgrading pre existing speakers. Less errors, faster responses. It's local recognition is sharp, it's active listening noise is unobtrusive, and over all it's a wonderful chance to support the team while getting something awesome at the same time.

Look forward to tinkering with it until I break it and starting again haha
